Laricina Energy Ltd. (“Laricina” or the “Company”) today announces and congratulates President and Chief Executive Officer Glen Schmidt on being selected as the 2014 Management Alumni Excellence (“MAX”) Award recipient from the Haskayne School of Business (“Haskayne”) at the University of Calgary.
The MAX Award was established in 2000 and recognizes the outstanding success of Haskayne alumni. The award is intended to celebrate personal achievement and extraordinary service to the university and the community. From the more than 21,000 Haskayne graduates in 83 countries worldwide, 14 distinguished alumni have now received the MAX Award.
Mr. Schmidt will be presented with the award at a special gala held in Calgary on October 21, 2014. His nomination was based on his drive and perseverance as a leader in both industry and the community.
