Kent Barrett, Laricina’s Senior Carbonate Geologist, presented at the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (CSPG) annual convention held in Calgary May 10-14, 2010. The presentation, “Saleski: The First SAGD Project in the Carbonates”, provided an up-date on Laricina’s effort to develop a SAGD pilot project in the Grosmont Formation. Marnie Connelly, a Senior Staff Geologist at Laricina, also presented at the CSPG convention. Ms. Connelly’s presentation, “A New SAGD Play (in a simple reservoir)”, provided an overview of the Grand Rapids Formation, the primary target of Laricina’s Germain project.
